East Coast Demerara : About 12:15 a.m yesterday, shopkeeper Lebert Thomas, 50 years, of Melanie Damishana, East Coast Demerara, was parking his motor vehicle in his yard when he was confronted by two men, one of whom shot him to his abdomen, after which they escaped.
Thomas has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
