Gerald Nicholls, 63, was found dead with a gun shot wound to his upper body this morning.
According to police reports, Nicholls went outside his home at Kendal Plantation, St John, to investigate a noise just after 3 o'clock this morning, after which his family heard gun shots.
Nicholls' body was found by his sons.
