Georgetown : About 11:30am on Thursday April 28, 2016, shopkeeper David Sooknanand, 43 years, of Savage Street, North East La Penitence, Georgetown, was held up by two men armed with firearms and who took away an undisclosed sum of cash and escaped in a waiting motor vehicle.
David Sooknanand was shot to his left foot during the robbery and has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
