Man shot during late night robbery

East Bank Demerara : At about 11pm yesterday, Anthony Johnson, 34 years, of Friendship, East Bank Demerara, was walking along a road in the Friendship Squatting Area, EBD, when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm.
During the incident Anthony Johnson was shot and injured to his right leg by the perpetrators who took away $7,000.00 and his wrist watch and escaped. He has been admitted to the Georgetown public Hospital .
Investigations are in progress.
