Berbice : The Police this morning says Jerry Babulall of Johanna South, Black Bush Polder, Corentyne, Berbice, was in his motor vehicle along with his mother and wife on the Adventure Access Road, Corentyne, when they were attacked by two men armed with firearms around 2pm yesterday.
They were held at gunpoint and robbed of a quantity of jewellery, three cell phones, and $165,000.00 by the men who escaped in a motor car.
During the incident Jerry Babulall was shot and injured to his right hand and has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
