East Bank Demerara : Harry Persaud, 34 years, of 139 Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo (EBE), was in a motor vehicle along with a friend on the Eccles Old Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD), when they were attacked by two men on a motor cycle armed with firearms yesterday afternoon.
They were held at gunpoint and Persaud was robbed of $1,168.000.00 and shot to his left hand and left thigh. The men escaped on the motor cycle.
Harry Persaud has been admitted at the Georgetown public Hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
