Georgetown : Last night just minutes after 11:00 Wendell Liverpool, 44 years, of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was attacked and robbed of his jewellery by three men armed with handguns while he was in a shop at West Ruimveldt Front Road, after which the perpetrators escaped.
During the incident shots were discharged at Wendell Liverpool and he was struck to his shoulder, back and buttocks. He has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
