Georgetown: A man who was murdered on February 19, 2017, at Stabroek Market during an altercation was identified Monday as the brother of Commissioner of Police Seelall Persaud.
He was identified Hermant Persaud, a ship builder of the Essequibo coast. The top cop is on leave. No arrests have been made since but the police are investigating the matter.
