A failed bid to rob the Divi Southwinds Hotel at St Lawrence Gap, Christ Church , over the weekend has left staff badly shaken and a security guard undergoing counselling.
General Manager of the hotel Alvin Jemmott told Trakker News that the guard, who is contracted by a security firm, was attacked on Sunday night but the assailant failed to get any money.
He expressed relief that no one was hurt. The police are investigating the matter.
