Beetham: One man is dead following an accident on the Beetham Highway last night.
Police say that around 7.30pm officer Liston Whitehead, a security guard employed with Strike Force Security Limited was making his way across the Beetham Highway in the vicinity of Sealots, when a car came into contact with him, killing him on the spot.
According to police reports, the vehicle did not stop and moments later another vehicle came into contact with the man completely decapitating him.
Meanwhile Sangre Grande police are trying to identify the body of a naked woman found in a house opposite the Sangre Grande market.
The body was discovered early this morning.
