Georgetown : Gidram Rasiawan of Eccles, East Bank Demerara, who was the driver of the motor pickup that was involved in the fatal accident at Mon Repos, ECD, on February 03, 2013, in which two persons lost their lives, was placed before Magistrate Alex Moore at the Sparendaam Magistrate Court today on further charges.
He has been charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, taking vehicle without owner’s consent, unlicensed driver and breach of insurance.
Gidram Rasiawan has been placed on bail in the sum of $300,000.00 on each count of causing death by dangerous driving and $50,000.00 bail on each of the other charges, for court on April 04, 2013.
