Essequibo : The police are investigating a suspected hit and run fatal accident that occurred last night at Bushy Park, East Bank Essequibo (EBE).
The body of Alister Livingstone, 54 years, of Farm, EBE, was found on the Public Road at Bushy Park and subsequent investigations led to the arrest of a hire-car driver at Goed Fortuin, WBD, and the detaining of his motor vehicle during this morning.
The man is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
