A man was left dumbfounded and staring at both of his almost severed feet on Sunday afternoon following an accident with a Sports Utility Vehicle.
Caribbean Trakker has learnt that the injured man is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol while crossing the public road on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway, close to Madewini Creek when the accident occurred.
Both of the injured man legs were mangled at the ankle joint and bones were left protruding and resting on the sand until he was taken for medical attention.
The police was summoned, and an investigation is said to be ongoing.
