Linden : Investigations are being conducted into the murder of Leolyn Sullivan, 34 years, of Wisroc Housing Scheme, Linden, which occurred at her home about 2 a.m. today.
The police say Sullivan and her reputed husband had a domestic argument during which she was stabbed multiple times about her body.
During the incident her two daughters came to her defence and one of them, Shemeka Campbell, 18 years, was stabbed to her arm and neck.
The suspect then self-inflicted wounds to his neck and chest.
They were taken to the Linden Hospital where Leolyn Sullivan was pronounced dead on arrival and Shemeka Campbell was admitted.
The suspect has also been admitted to the Linden Hospital where he is under police guard.
