East Bank Demerara : The police are investigating a report that on Saturday last a licensed firearm holder entered a house at Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara, where he confronted a group of men in relation to the alleged larceny of articles from his premises.
An argument developed during which the licensed firearm holder is reported to have discharged several rounds hitting Courtney Moore, 30 years, and Ralph Paul, 43 years, both of Land of Canaan, each to their right shoulder.
The injured men have been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital for medical treatment, while the licensed firearm holder is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
