Leading Barbadian cricketer switch allegiance to Trinidad

Barbados' leading female cricketer Deandra Dottin, is expected to play for Trinidad and Tobago in next  month's West Indies regional women's championship in Jamaica.

The 21 year old Dottin has been playing cricket in Trinidad and has expressed an interest in playing for the twin island republic.

According to a source Dottin had not been included in Barbados squad which has not been announced by the Barbados  Cricket Association.

Dottin, who holds the record for the fastest international Twenty20 century did not play in the 2012 Iris Walker Memorial domestic competition from which the Barbados selectors used performances to guide the selection of the national.

Dottin has enjoyed successful year in Trinidad having scored a century for her team the Spice Girls.
