Kitty man charged for assaulting political activist while erecting party’s flag.

Georgetown : Albert Cromwell, 48 years, of Dowding Street, Kitty was charged with unlawful wounding committed on Iqbal Khan, 51 years, of Sophia. He appeared in court yesterday and was placed on bail in the sum of $60,000.00.

The charge stem from an incident that occurred in Dowding Street on Monday February 15, 2016, during which Iqbal Khan was allegedly assaulted by Albert Cromwell while he was erecting flags in the community in support of one of the groups contesting the upcoming Local Government Elections.
