Jamaican woman to be deported

Bridgetown.

Illegal Jamaican immigrant, Latoya Althea Walters will be deported back to Jamaica shortly.

Walters, of Flagstaff, St Michael, was charged along with Ian Holford  of the same address, appeared in the District  A Magistrate Court yesterday charged with causing disturbance to be made on Flagstaff Road,  on the same day.

Walters 28, told the court she was in a relationship with the 52 year old Holford.

"Because he know I not straight , he use it again me", she told the court.

Prosecutor Sergeant Rudy Pilgrim , told the court that Walters was an illegal immigrant who had not sought to  regularise her status. 

Walters told the court,"I know I is illegal and I know I got to go back home. I not frighten."

Acting Magistrate Manila Renee discountinued the case and handed her over to immigration officials for deportation.
