Herphilee Brendedeen Bradford, 30, was arrested and charged over the weekend for attempting to import marijuana into Barbados.
She arrived at the Grantley Adams Airport on Friday night and was interviewed by the police, search of her luggage revealed a false bottom, with a taped package of cannabis weighing four pounds.
Bradford was arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to suppy, trafficking and importation of the drug. She appeared in the District A Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded.
The case was transferred to the District B Magistrates Court to be heard on Tuesday.
