Jamaican to provide written confession in presence of lawyers for killing Durant

Georgetown- Police are checking with the Jamaican authorities if the suspect they have in custody for the killing of Manu Durant has a rap sheet. Information is that he is to provide a written confession today in the presence of his lawyers. The man's name was given as Donald Malcolm, he was captured Saturday last at Eteringbang Cuyunni River, trying to flee the country. The authorities say they had no doubt he was their suspect and after a few days in custody he provided a confession. Information is that the Baroombar night club on North road closed off its music after 4am Thursday morning, Durant who was reportedly heavily intoxicated became annoyed and got into an argument with Malcolm. This led to Durant whipping out his weapon and fired at the Jamaican narrowly missing him. The man retaliated hitting Durant twice in the chest.
