Georgetown : Asha Negi popularly known as Purvi from Indian Soap Pavitra Rishta along with her co star Rithvik Dhanjani best known for playing the role of Arjun said they are ready to give the Guyanese public a fantastic performance at three scheduled shows over the weekend.
Along with the Pavitra Rishta stars were Suhasi Dhami ( Abha) of Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli and Rubina Dilaik who played Radhika the main character in the TV series Choti Bahu.
The stars said they were exited to hear that all the way in South America their character names are popular and Guyanese are much glued to their television sets following the Indian soaps.
“Being on the sets for 12 to 14 hours a day, we hardly understand how much people across the world appreciate the work of the soap actors” Arjun said.
The stars are schedule for shows at Tuchen on the West Coast of Demerara, tonight, the Guyana National Stadium tomorrow and Berbice on Sunday.
