President George Maxwell-Richards term in office came to an end yesterday, and he is being replaced by Anthony Carmona. The ceremony is expected to begin at 4.15pm at the Hasley Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo. Several dignitaries including Chief Justice Ivor Archie,and Prime Minister Kamla Persad- Bissessar will be in attendance.
The event is expected to be grand as it will involve 5,000 students from across the country as well as members from the Defence Force detachments comprising the Regiment, Air Guard, Air Force, Coast Guard and T&T Defence Force Reserves.
