Berbice : At about 5 a.m today, the bodies of Parbatie Vyraum, 34 years, and her reputed husband Ramdat Persaud, 56 years, were found in their home at Tain, Corentyne, Berbice.
Parbatie Vyraum was found lying on a bed with stab wounds to the body, while Ramdat Persaud was found on the floor.
Based on initial investigations, the Police are working on a theory of suspected murder/suicide, and are awaiting the results of the post mortem examination.
