Police and fire officials are actively investigating an early morning blaze at Melrose, St. Thomas.
An unoccupied house has been completely destroyed reportedly owned by Sandra Graham of Belleville, St. Michael. The fire broke out around 5 o'clock this morning. Two tenders responded to the call, one from headquarters, the other from Arch Hall.
Fire officials were able to contain the blaze to that house, there were no reports of damage to other nearby residences.
