Homeless man found dead under bridge near Nestle factory

Bamboo: Foul play is not being ruled out in the discovery of a body at Bamboo Number Three this morning.

According to police reports, the body of Desmond Boyer was discovered by CEPEP workers under a bridge near the Nestle factory around 8 am.

It is believed the homeless man has been living under the bridge for about two years.

While it is believed he may have drowned as a result of heavy overnight rains, investigators say the fact that he was found naked with his clothes nearby has raised some suspicions.

There were however no marks of violence but his body was taken to the Forensic Sciences Center to ascertain the cause of death.

Investigators are asking any relatives to come forward and positively identify the body.
