Georgetown: Minister of Health Dr. Bheri Ramsaran recently received 30 new wheel chairs from the Sai Baba organisation which will be handed over to persons living with disabilities.
At the handing over ceremony at the Health Ministry’s compound, Brickdam, Minister Ramsaran expressed gratitude to the organisation for its continued support to the Ministry in its (Ministry’s) endeavour to improve the local health care system.
Minister Ramsaran said that already there is a demand for the chairs and promised that the Ministry will ensure they are fully utilised.
The Minister said he anticipates that the cooperation between the Ministry and the organisation will continue.
The Sri Sathya Sai Baba Organisation worldwide is a spiritual organisation founded by a spiritual Master Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
