Guyana-Venezuela Border Issue

Georgetown : The 34th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) which was held at Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, from 4-6 July 2013, the Heads of Government expressed satisfaction over the excellent state of relations between Guyana and Venezuela which has enabled the two countries to continue to implement a vibrant programme of cooperation.

The Heads of Government noted that both countries remained committed to the Good Offices Process of the United Nations Secretary General under the Geneva Agreement of 1966 and reaffirmed their support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Guyana.
