Guyana Police Force athletes perform in T&T

IMG_6495Georgetown: A four-member athletics team from the Guyana Police Force performed outstandingly at the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Annual Athletics Championships 2016 which were held recently at the Trinidad Police Sports Club Ground, St. James, Port-of-Spain.  

The team comprising Constables 21284 Julio Sinclair, 22509 Saphine Vanderstoop and 22647 Quacy Morian and Special Constable 14841 Marvin Tinnis won a total of twenty-three trophies in the track and fields events, with Constable Julio Sinclair establishing a new meet record in the shot put with a throw of 15:17 metres.  

Thursday, Assistant Commissioner ‘Administration’ Mr. David Ramnarine, DSM, and Assistant Commissioner ‘Operations’ Mr. Christopher Griffith and other Senior Officers met with the ranks where they were congratulated on their achievements. The team was managed by Police Sports Officer Assistant Superintendent Tiffany Williams.
