“Guyana is a wonderful country”- Chinese Voyagers in RV says

TripGeorgetown:  With Guyana being the 48th country visited a group of travelling Chinese left for Suriname Saturday night with a promise to return to Guyana after their worldwide tour.

What started out as a group of 12 in two Recreational Vehicles (RV’s) shrunk to four as the group pursues their global travel.  Their names are Wujingyi, Chun-Hung Chen, Shuotiao and Hambin Chen.

The tour was organized by President of the Guyana Cuba Solidarity Movement (GCSM), Haleem Khan while he was in Cuba.

Their next stop is Suriname then to French Guiana and Brazil. Some of the countries covered included Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Canada, USA, Mexico, Cuba, the Bahamas, Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.

The group was especially excited Saturday last on their visit to the floodlights Softball Cricket Association organised Trophy Stall. The event was the male and female softball cricket tournaments at the DCC Ground in Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown.

A specially made cup with an emblem was presented to the Chinese group at DCC by a representative of Trophy Stall. This was done to show the group Guyanese appreciation on their visit to Guyana and the DCC ground.

The group of passionate young people from China who dared to achieve and complete their dream of travelling 200 countries driving a Recreational Vehicle (RV) reached will continue until they have fulfilled their mission 

After the end of their trip around the world, the group plans to share their entire journey, experience and memorabilia collected in an exclusive museum, and opened a photography exhibition to share with people the whole world trip.

The lifetime journey all started on May 19, 2012 in China. Since then, the group has traveled through four continents, crossed three oceans and visited 48 countries and more than 170 cities in an RV.

Their world trip has been reported by many Chinese as well as international media groups. They have more than 150,000 followers on the number one social network in China, Weibo, and Twitter alike. In the course of their journey, they continually provide professional photographs and articles to magazines, websites and newspapers.
