Gun amnesty period given two-week extension

images (2)Georgetown: The Ministry of Public Security announced that the period of amnesty for firearms has been extended to 14th October 2015.

The following Police Stations remain the places where the firearms could be handed in during this amnesty period. The period of acceptance is between 0900 hours and 1600 hours daily:

A Division – Georgetown and East Bank, Demarara

B Division – Berbice
