Granger shares kites to children of Friendship

untitled shoot-0068Georgetown: Over one-hundred children were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Leader of the People’s National Congress, David Granger, as he arrived at the Buxton-Friendship gas station to distribute kites to the children of the area.

While encouraging the children to fly their kites safely, Brigadier Granger also reminded the children that the tradition of kite flying during Easter signifies the resurrection of Jesus Christ after the Crucifixion.

The event was organized by Friendship businessman Morris Wilson and his wife Jocelyn.
