Minister of National Security Dr. Errol Cort on behalf of the Government of Antigua and Barbuda and the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, has expressed thanks to the Government of Barbados and the Royal Police Force of Barbados for availing four senior officers to travel to Antigua to assist in ongoing investigations.

The lawmen who returned to Barbados  over the weekend assisted  the local law enforcement officers with a number of ongoing investigations including the recent murder of Mrs. Susan Powell.
Although the Barbadian lawmen returned home, they will continue to collaborate with the local law enforcement officers on the cases they would have worked on while on island.

The officers were invited to join the team in Antigua to complement the ongoing work of local officers.

A major initiative coming out of the week long trip by the Barbadian officers is the establishment of a Major Incidents Room, through which all major incidents will be channeled.
