Good results in Common Entrance Examinations

The results in this year's Common Entrance Examinations reveal that is has been a good year.

According to Minister of Educationm Ronald Jones, while there have been improved performances, girls had again outperformed boys in Mathematics and English.

The top student was Abigail Durrant of St Gabriel's Primary School.

Jones told the press that 1841 students or 49 percent of those who sat the examinations scored 70 percent in both papers, of those 1055 were girls and 780 were boys.
