Girl is top student in Common Entrance Examination

Bridgetown.

Briiana Williams of The Peoples Cathedral's School is the top student in this year's Common Entrance Examination. Her marks total 250.51 ith an A in composition.

Zerayaicob Yaicob of the Rock Christian School the top boy with 248.39 and A in the essay.

The announcement was made by Minister of Education Ronald Jones this morning, who said he is pleased with the students performance in English where there was a slight increase in scores, however Math was on the decline.

One girl scored 100 percent in Math. Several others scored 99 percent.Two students scored 100 percent in English.

The overall top ten performing schools, are Peoples Cathedral, St Winifred’s, Trinity Academy, Blackman and Gollop, Wilkie Cumberbatch, The Rock Christian School, St Margaret’s Primary, Charles F Brome, St Cyprians and Alfallah School.
