Supporters of the ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP) have been urged by Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, to be prepare for a tough battle during the next general elections.
Speaking to party a joint meeting of the DLP St Michael branches at the Springer School, the Prime Minister said his Government would go back to the people when the time was right and will do so with a detail list of his Government achievements.
"As I speak to you the United States, the richest and most powerful country in the world still, the largest economy in the world still,has over 40 million people on food stamps and over 15 million people unemployed", Stuart said.
"This country is stable.all of the children who have to go to school can still go. All those who need textbooks can get them", Stuart said.
He added his Government will not be sidetracked by the Opposition.
