Funeral agency files lawsuit against Rihanna

A funeral agency has filed a lawsuit against Barbadian singing sensation Rihanna for $202,214 for her grandmother's funeral.

Last Friday, the funeral agency firm of Downes & Wilson lodged the civil suit against Robyn Fenty for $202 214.

According to the writ filed on behalf of James Wilson & Company the Barbadian super star ownes the money which is the balance due for the burial of her grandmother Clara Brathwaite on July 10 last year. Downes & Wilson is also making an interest claim of $21,232.

The lawsuit said Rihanna claimed the bill was exorbitant and only paid a quarter of it after allegedly sparing no expense on the proceedings, which included massive floral arrangements and large multimedia screens.

 

The lawsuit was filed by former Attorney General of Barbados  Sir Henry Forde QC, on Behalf of the funeral home.t\
