Region 9 : School doors are now reopened after flood water has receded in Region 9 with good attendance.
Students will be able to sit the National Grade two assessment this week and grade four on next Monday and Tuesday
Regional Executive Officer (REO) of that region Ronald Harsawack told the Government Information agency that the department of education is monitoring the situation to ensure students move ahead with the curriculum.
Students who were eligible to sit the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate examination were not affected as the examination papers were taken to Aishalton and Annai and the examinations were written while students from the St. Ignatius Secondary utilized the Regional Education building in Lethem.
