Fourth man charged with murder

St John's, Antigua.

Fourteen months after the tragic shooting of gas station attendant Dorothy Prince on February 17 2012, one of the accomplices in the incident, 27-year-old Omari Phillip has been charged with causing her death.

According to the police, police, Phillip, who was charged with aggravated robbery has been jointly charged with Price murder along with former soldier Timorie Elliotte, police constable Gideon Jackson, and Dion “Ticks” Thomas .

Reports indicated that Phillip, who was on bail, had fled l out of the court’s jurisdiction to Canada. He  was refused entry, and returned to Antigua last Saturday, March 30, where he was taken into police custody and charged.

The incident happened at about 9:15 pm, when Phillip, along with three other accomplices, allegedly entered the gas station and shot the 40-year-old attendant, then escaped with more than $5,000.
