Berbice : The police today launched an investigation into a fatal accident that occurred at Plantation Foulis Public Road, West Coast Berbice, and resulted in the death of Trechel Williams.
According to the police, that the driver of a motor car was proceeding along the roadway allegedly at a fast rate, and collided with the four year old pedestrian. She was taken to the Mahaicony Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
