Footballer test positive for drugs

Kingston.

A member  of the Jamaica senior football team tested positive during the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying match against Honduras in Tegucigalpa last month.

FIFA's Chief Medical Officer notified the JFF about the adverse analytical finding yesterday..
The testing was carried out by FIFA and as a result the process will be managed by the world’s governing body for football.

Director of Operations, Public Relations and Events with the Jamaica Football Federation  Janice Rose-Brown told media the player has been notified about the analytical finding.
