Georgetown : At about 9:35am today fishermen Elvin Pollard, 45 years, of Crane, West Coast Demerara, was in a boat under the Pritipaul Singh Wharf at Mc Doom, EBD, when he was confronted by an armed security guard attached to Pritipaul Singh Investment Inc.
The man was shot to his chest.
Elvin Pollard was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The security guard is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
