The 80 year leader of the Nation of Islam will be holding several meetings with various sectors on the island including students, business and the public.

The announcement of his visit was made yesterday by David Commissiong, the head of the local organizing committee who told the media, Farrakhan was on a five nation Caribbean tour which began in Grenada yesterday and will include Barbados, Dominica, the United States Virgin Islands, Belize and The Bahamas.

According to Commissiong, the outspoken religious and social leader will deliver his usual life lessons.

"He has been consistent in preaching lessons of racial uplift, of moral rectitude right and good living; lessons of racial and Caribbean unity, of economic empowerment for black people. I dare say that now more than ever we need that message", says Commissiong.
