Family traumatised by horrific crash

A horrific crash along the Falmouth bypass in Trelawny on Monday which left four people dead has traumatised  members of a St James family.

Shortly after 6 p.m. on Easter Monday, 33-year-old farmer Rodney Drummond, of Content district in Adelphi, St James; his common-law wife, 33-year-old Taniesha Small; and their two children, nine-year-old Reniesha Drummond and seven-year-old Tia Drummond, perished when their Nissan motor car was involved in a four-vehicle collision.

According to reports, the family members were on their way home from the Dover Raceway in St Ann, where they had gone to watch a motorsport event. Rodney, who was driving the car, is said to have overtaken a line of traffic and collided into an oncoming sport utility vehicle.
