Essequibo: Businessman Devon Fordyce of Lot 45 Dartmouth Village, Essequibo Coast was on Monday charged for narcotics trafficking. He was remanded to September 3rd.
The case was called before Charity Magistrate Esther Sam, it is alleged that on August 19th, at about 17:30h, ranks swooped down on his premises to conduct a search, and unearthed 1539 grams of cannabis and 32 grams of cocaine in various sections of the house and in a chicken pen in the yard.
Unrepresented by legal counsel, the 40-year-old defendant denied the charge.
