West Bank Demerara : An eight year old school girl and her father were standing on the road in the vicinity of Wales Sugar Estate, West Bank Demerara, to catch a mini bus when a white Toyota Allion hit the girl pitching her a few yards away from her father. An eye witness told Trakkernews the driver of the car lost control because of the heavy slush on the road that is being wash down from the Wales Sugar estate and ran into the patch of the couple.
The girl was pronounced dead at the West Demerar Regional Hospital.
The accident occured last evening.
