Berbice: The body of Khemraj Bhajan male East Indian age 60 was found dead around 12:00hrs today in a trench in front his home at Albion Corentyne Berbice.
Bhajan who lives alone is said to be an alcoholic. Neighbors said he was last seen alive around 08:00 hrs and may have fell in the trench in attempt to go buy more rum. Police ruled out foul play since the body bore no marks of violence. The body is at the New Amsterdam Hospital Mortuary awaiting post mortem.
