East Coast Demerara: Gopaulram Dass of Better Hope North, East Coast Demerara(ECD) , was struck down by a motor car yesterday as he was allegedly attempting to cross the public road at Vryheid’s Lust, ECD. The driver of the motor vehicle fled the scene.
The 35 year old Dass was taken to the Woodlands Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
This publication understands that police are following leads to arrest the driver since one of his number plates was left at the scene.
