Essequibo : The body of Rohanie Tagwattie, 22 years of Anna Regina Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast, was found in a canal in the backlands of Riverstown, Essequibo, and the body of 23 year old Rabinandan Radahar of Riverstown was found hanging from a tree.
Rabinandan Radahar a carpenter and Rohanie Tagwattie had shared a common-law relationship which bore three children, one dead a few months ago. The couple’s relationship ended about six months ago after a history of domestic disputes. The police are working on the theory that Radahar killed Tagwattie and then committed suicide.
