DOMA unhappy with Budget proposals

Port-of-Spain: The Downtown Owners and Merchants Association (DOMA) says there was nothing earth-shattering about the 2011/2012 Budget.

The association's president Gregory Aboud beleives the Finance Minister Winston Dookeran, created a budget to complement the unstable economic climate, which exits at this time.

The DOMA president says he has some concerned that $54.6 billions will be spent for the fiscal year, inspite of the economic situation.

He laments that there were not enough plans to encourage investment. Aboud says entrepruenership should be placed high government's agenda and the aim should be for the country to have successful  and competitive business people.
