Georgetown : An armed robbery occurred on a Digicel Store at Sheriff Street, Georgetown, at about 4pm yesterday.
Three men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, entered the premises and held up two female staff members and took away a number of cell phones, phone cards and sim cards along with the victims’ jewellery and cell phones.
During today , one of the suspects was seen in the vicinity of the Digicel Outlet. He was arrested and is in police custody. Charges will be made shortly.
